POSITION PURPOSETo manage the day to day activities and develop the competencies of the HR Analytics team. The team s primary purpose is to conduct advanced modeling and analytics of HR and financial data in order to provide strategic and actionable insights. The team consults with internal HR clients to identify strategic information needs, conduct data and process analyses, provide actionable recommendations, and to manage and execute analytical projects that support the organizations strategic objectives and drive business outcomes.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES40% Lead analyses, typically of moderate to high complexity, of Home Depots HR, Payroll and related business data and processes with emphasis on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems and determining solutions to manage them and that drive effective business decisions.20% Coordinate the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions that improve HR and business decisions and that drive operational efficiency.20% Coordinate the design and development of dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids designed to educate, inform and influence the decisions of HR clients and business leaders within Home Depot.10% Provide oversight and review projects and implementation of metrics to ensure successful execution and sustainability.10% Evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions, which include work allocation, training, development and problem resolution. Attract, hire and retain employees.NATURE AND SCOPEThis position reports to the Director, HR Analytics and Reporting.Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTSEnvironment:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditionTravel:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Additional Environmental Job Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Additional Minimum Qualifications:Education Required:Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Additional Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Expert knowledge of research, statistical, econometric, quantitative analysis techniques, deep understanding of computational methods and their applicability to business problems.Project management experience, consulting and facilitation skills.Strong analytical skills, process oriented thinker.Solid communications and interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus.Strong presentation skills.
