- Collaborate with product management and engineering team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering, including the creation of detailed user flows, conceptual diagrams, prototypes, product maps and wireframes
- Conceptualize original ideas and solutions that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges
- Leverage deep insight around customer purchasing and shopping experiences within the CBORD/Horizon Software product industry a plus
- 5+ years of industry experience preferred (preferably in an agile development environment)
- Minimum of 2 years managing, and guiding design teams desired
- Ability to successfully manage several large projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of continuously evolving UX design technologies, as well as industry standards to ensure leading-edge interpretation and execution of design applications
- Strong skills in wire-framing as well as familiarity with front-end code and web/mobile-based environments and building UI component libraries
- Strong technical skills for creating sophisticated, elegant designs for B2B and consumer-online platforms
- Design portfolio experience including professionally designed interactions and visuals across web applications
- Deep understanding and expertise in Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and Accelerated Mobile Pages (GOOGLE AMP), mobile, tablet and PC/Mac responsive design and methodologies
- Experience with any of the following: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Sketch
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Occasional travel, usually no more than 3-5 days per month
- Occasional on-call/after-hours support expected
- Product Development, Product Management, Customer Service, Implementation and UI teams along with our clients and external partners.
