Prepress Graphic Designer

Description Robert Half is looking for a graphic designer who understands graphic design for digital printing company that has an opening in the pre-press department for an mid level file prep position. This role is 100% onsite. Key things for this role are below, but MUST know adobe illustrator, and understanding formatting for printing. No need for color correcting or ripping.Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the print-ready status of all orders submitted Pre-Flighting digital files -checking bleed, image quality, pms color, etc. Building print ready files using Adobe Illustrator - adding dielines, cutter marks, nesting artwork, etc. This is not a design position but design experience is helpful Must be willing to assist other departments when neededRequirements Full Knowledge of PC and MAC platform, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat are required Speed, attention to detail, troubleshooting and accuracy are needed Must be reliable and willing to learn Thorough eye for detail, and the initiative to take a project from concept to completion Reliable and punctual work history An attitude to produce good quality product The ability to work well with others as a team player Willingness to put in the extra time and effort to do what it takes to keep the customer happyIf Interested, connect with Alex Parton on Linkedin.Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
