Position Purpose:The role will be the business lead for the implementation and continued development of Home Depot's pricing business intelligence capabilities. The Manager, Business Intelligence will lead a team to work with business users within Home Depot (Pricing, Merchandising, Merchandising Solutions, IT) to develop requirements for new analytical tools and reports that will improve strategic decision-making processes. This individual will lead the team to create actionable data that is readily available to users to assist them in making quicker, more intelligent business decisions. The Manager, Business Intelligence will need to be well versed with pricing (CPI, Match Coverage), financial (Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory) and operational (in-stock) metrics.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:Manage pricing business intelligence team responsible for development and automation of reporting and data processing. Manage priorities and work assignment to ensure timely delivery of pricing business insights. Establish strong quality control processes

Work with key business groups (Pricing Managers, Merchants, Product Managers, IT, Supply Chain) to document analytical and business reporting requirements

Develop roadmap for evolving Pricing Business Intelligence capabilities, prioritizing development of analytical capabilities based on business need

Partner with IT and Product Management team to ensure successful development and testing of new capabilities. Drive user training and on-going support

Develop team talent and mentor team members

Nature and Scope:This position reports to Sr Manager Pricing Analytics.

This position has 0-3 direct reports.

Will have responsibility for directing contract labor.

Environmental Job Requirements:Environment:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements:Standard Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:5 years

Certifications & Licenses:Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Google Cloud infrastructure and functionality, Tableau, SSRS/SSIS and other BI tools

Thorough knowledge of information systems processes, methodologies, and concepts is required

Excellent written and verbal skills are a required; must have strong interpersonal capabilities and the ability to work and partner cross-functionally with other leaders and teams; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership

Proven ability to mentor and develop staff through experience and training. Accountable for work assignments and progress monitoring, team morale building, hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.

Proactive, take-charge leader that assumes responsibility for achieving results; ability to think, work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities; bandwidth to grow and assume additional responsibilities; well-organized with the capacity to multitask;

Functional knowledge in any one of the subject areas - Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:This individual must possess significant experience in developing analytical methods and reporting and a proven track record of driving decisions based on this data.
