Position Purpose:The Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Area Manager is responsible for the ICQA function within a region that spans multiple DCs. The Area Manager has direct responsibility over the ICQA team and results in their home Distribution Center (DC), and they are responsible for the results of other DCs within the region by providing direction and coaching to the other ICQA Managers in these Distribution Centers. The ICQA Area Manager will work with the other ICQA Managers ensuring compliance to processes to support receiving accuracy, efficient product flow and handling of exception freight. The role is responsible for the results related to data quality, inventory accuracy, and issue resolution and will partner with Store Support Center (SSC) support teams driving improvements in vendor performance and ensuring quality service to the stores. The ICQA Area Manager will communicate vendor, process and project updates to the ICQA Managers within their regions. This position will require travel of up to 50%, as the role will travel to distribution centers with the region.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:Oversees quality control processes and issue resolution to improve the quality and accuracy of freight flow in the Distribution Centers. Responsible for root cause analysis and issue resolution. Ensure compliance to processes.

Partnership with SSC Support on root cause analysis around data and vendor related issues and improvements in the issue resolution process. This in turn will be communicated to the Quality Assurance Mgrs within the region, who will partner with General Managers and Assistant General Managers in assigned buildings

Nature and Scope:This position reports to the General Manager.

This position has up to 8 direct reports.

Environment:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:Typically requires overnight travel 25% to 50% of the time. This role will support the Southern region of the United States.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:3 years

Physical Requirements:Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Additional Qualifications:Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to be on-call at various times. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be open to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain

Previous Quality Assurance experience in a management role

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications

Previous change management experience (driving, influencing and inspiring change through communication at all impacted levels).

Working knowledge of Manhattan or other similar warehouse management systems.
