Job Description

The Corporate Communications Senior Specialist role is a critical internal support role working alongside the Director of Corporate Communications. This role helps ensure the quality and timeliness of all company-wide communications and channels. This role also provides the opportunity to work closely with other internal teams and leaders, including senior leadership. This position requires work from home and work from office, with potential for travel 2-4 times per year.

Responsibilities include both strategic support and tactical daily tasks, specifically:

  • Co-Lead planning and execution of Company Meetings
  • Draft, review, moderate, and disseminate key company-wide messages (e.g., CapTalk Newsletter, Announcements, Leadership Link, and Executive Messages)
  • Manage communication posts and updates on CapCentral
  • Manage and communicate the corporate event & communications calendars
  • Lead the Corporate Communications Community activities (e.g., monthly meetings, backlog capture, solution research)
  • Create and manage templates and documentation in support of company-wide communications standards
  • Coordinate and provide guidance for other company-wide communications (NOT CONTENT) proofreading, timing, and template usage
  • Manage the Corporate Communications Planner
  • Manage the Corporate Communications Production Calendar

Qualifications

Skills Required:

  • Strong writer
  • Strong editor
  • Good verbal communicator
  • Organized
  • Flexibility to quickly pivot and reprioritize when needed
  • Team Player

Experience Desired:

  • Leading a Project (e.g., Event, Communications, OCM tasks within a larger team)
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Creating and executing Communications plans
  • Working with Executive-level leaders

Experience Helpful:

  • Managing a Project (e.g., scope, schedule, backlog, planner)
  • Organizational Change Management
  • Event planning
  • Strategic planning
  • SharePoint Online
