Position is onsite at our new Design Center, Tuesday through Saturday 9-5:30

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is an experienced expert administrator. One who is highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage many concurrent projects efficiently and effectively at the same time. Candidate must be dependable, happy, energetic and very easy to communicate with.

Overview of the Position: Manages diverse and complicated administrative functions for a large, complex retail store. Responsibilities include:

- Administrative support for management including email, phone, faxing, paperwork, filing, organizing, deadline management

-Relieves management of administrative details; filing, paperwork,follow up, Purchasing paperwork and deadline management, emailing andfaxing important documents

- Retail customer interaction and communications (phone answering, email, greeting)

- Sales support, (tear sheets, calling vendors, follow up on orders time frames and deliveries)

- Manage multiple assignments for many concurrent projects

- Always improving administrative functions for the department and company

- Always looking for ways to help the sales team with clerical work, customer communications, efficiencies etc.

-Vendor interaction to monitor and process orders for custom furniture and high end fabrics

-Establish strong relationships with vendors

-Establish and maintain a reputation of credibility and responsiveness in themarket place by promptly returning vendor and customers emails/ phonecalls and ensure timely follow up on outstanding issues

-Management of order spreadsheets

-Create sales materials such as tear sheets, sales tags, label making, laminating etc.(graphics ability)

-Company wide daily shipping including data entry, monitoring, and management through UPS World Ship, USPS and FedEx

-Data entry for websites including spreadsheet production and data uploading ensuring accuracy and consistency

-WHATEVER ELSE NEEDS TO BE DONE (duties will grow over time!)

-The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job: Required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands and have ability to reach overhead. Regular lifting or moving of up to 20lbs, possibly up to 35lbs.Requiresbending, stooping, and ability to climb stairs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus and ability to write, count, and read required shipping/ company paperwork

Qualifications

High school diploma required/ Bachelor's preferred

- Dependable work schedule Tuesday - Saturday 9-5

- Happy and energetic

- Team player: works well with others

- Detailed oriented: strong and accurate typing, file organization, deadline management

- Someone who likes to stay busy and takes ownership of projects

- 5+ years professional admin/clerical experience

- Professional demeanor and personal presentation highly coveted

- Significant time management, organization, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and prioritization skills

- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Graphics design skills (Photoshop) a plus

- Ability to take on new responsibilities and work effectively under pressure and time constraints

- Ability to multitask

- Highly organized with dependable follow through essential

- Easy to get along with

- Ability to accept constructive criticism and accept management instruction

- Patience to repeat or redo projects through multiple layers of edits/ revisions

- Experience in furniture, fabric, or Interior Design a plus
