Java Cloud Engineer

An insurance SaaS company in Alpharetta is looking to expand their team and add a Java Cloud Engineer for an innovative project. You will be working on a cutting-edge platform that allows clients to research data stored in multiple databases for more real-time access. You will be responsible for building out the Azure cloud environment for this platform and automating and deploying Java Spring applications to the cloud. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience building out Java applications and working in a public cloud environment. Must have recent experience in a DevOps mindset. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building out Java Springboot applications
• Experience building out/maintaining public cloud environments (Azure is preferred)
• Hands on with DevOps automation tools, such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform
• Strong scripting ability with Java, Python, or Bash
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

• Experience with containers (Docker and Kubernetes) is a plus
• Hybrid cloud/virtual environments is a plus
