Lucas Group has partnered with our SaaS client in Atlanta on their search for a Senior Software Engineer. They are looking for a senior engineer to come in to lead and mentor more junior engineers as well as design and build cutting edge AI and ML software.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Contribute to new engineering processes and systems that will allow the team to scale in the future.
Collaborate with other engineers to design and code highly scalable machine learning applications that process large volumes of data.
Work cross functional with internal teams, product support, product management, delivery management to meet deadlines.

Skills Needed:

5-7+ years of experience in software design and development using a diverse set of programming languages, frameworks and systems.
Familiarity with one or more of the following: Java, C#, Python, NodeJS, PERL
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
Strong experience in RESTful API and miscroservices
Demonstrated knowledge of SQL relational databases and NoSQL databases

Educational & Work Requirements:

Degree: BS in Computer Science or related field
Work Experience: 5+ years in software development
