100% REMOTE - qualified candidates will be local to the Metro Atlanta area We're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and talented Java Developer to support our innovative, technology-driven client.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Java Developer:
  • Leverage Java/J2EE and open source technologies to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level, scalable solutions
  • Support all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through delivery
  • Develop specifications including functional/non-functional requirements, detailed design, code, and test procedures
  • Perform code reviews with the team to improve quality with established best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify technical debts and opportunities for product improvement

Requirements of the Sr. Java Developer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of experience
  • Advanced understanding of development on Java EE and open source technologies stack
  • Expertise in the implementation of software with multi-layer architecture with Java/J2EE, Spring and API technologies
  • Database - Oracle/PostgreSQL, UI - Java, JS, Angular JS, Spring MVC, HTML5, JQuery
  • Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting application servers
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise integration architecture
  • Expertise in build tools - Ant, Maven, unit test frameworks, CI/CD
  • Experience in microservices
  • Hands-on Agile practitioner
