Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Description Robert Half is partnering with a Florida law firm that is hiring a commercial litigation paralegal with 2+ years for its Miami or West Palm Beach office. Litigation paralegal will be working on complex litigation involving land use, zoning, real property, condominium, and complex commercial litigation disputes. Base salary up to $66,000 plus a rich health benefits package including 100% health insurance, 401(k) contribution, pension, parking or train, generous paid time off and holidays and continuing education opportunities.Responsibilities:

Coordinate and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials in litigation cases.

Manage and organize case files, including the collection and review of litigation documents.

Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses

Conduct legal research.

Draft and Filing pleadings, and motions.

Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and e-filing.

2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting handling litigation document preparation, document review, and legal research

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
