All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full TimeShift : Day ShiftThe community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth CarrollwoodThe role you’ll contribute:The Team Leader supervises, coordinates, and performs patient care delivery on assigned unit and is responsible for coordinating and planning assigned shift activities in advance to ensure standards of patient care are met. Acts as a clinical resource and role model and provides self-directed, effective services to groups of patients, physicians, and staff.The value you’ll bring to the team:Assists the Nurse Leader or designee, with updates and maintains unit records, reports, and forms.

Assists in preparing monthly schedule for assigned unit.

Assist with performance appraisals/corrective action and counseling.

Provides required documentation for personnel file in a timely manner.

Utilizes time effectively and accomplishes duties in necessary timeframe with minimal supervision.

Assists staff in the delivery of patient care

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :High School education or equivalent

Completion of Certified Surgical Assisting Program or have completed the requirements set by and have been certified by the

National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assistant (NBSTA) or

American Board of Surgical Assistant. (ABSA) or

National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistant (NCCSA)

Three years’ experience as a Certified First Assist in an acute care facility

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :Certified Surgical First Assistant (NBSTA or ABSA or NCCSA)

Basic Life Support (BLS)
