This is a Business Data Analyst role in a fast-paced technology delivery organization supporting AML Monitoring. This individual will analyze data requirements and define the data mappings and data transformation specifications as per business requirements. This individual will also work with data architects and contribute to data architecture and data modelling for the assigned projects. This individual will work with business analysts and business users to gather functional and data requirements and work with the development and architecture team throughout the life cycle to design the data mappings and data model meeting the business need.

Job Background/context:• 5 to 8 years of business and data analysis experience in building data warehouses and data solutions.• Prior work experience with designing data mappings and data transformation specifications.• Experience with data modelling using star schema, snowflake schema and or data vault modelling will be a plus.• Experience working with the end user in gathering the requirements and working with the development team throughout the life cycle of the project in meeting the business expectations.• Strong experience in writing SQL queries and data profiling is required.• Working experience and proficiency with Big Data echo system and technologies - Hive, Hue, Impala is required.
