POSTGIS SQL Developer

Role: POSTGIS DeveloperLocation: Tampa, FL (Remote for now)Hire Type: 12 months Contract Must have skills: Postgres SQL, Postgis, SQL, PL/SQL, Performance tuning, Shell scripting or python scripting Good to have: Any Reporting tools Responsibilities:Proficient in database modelling, Data extraction and storage logic building, Convert the business requirement into technical solutionsProficient in writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using PL/SQLProficient in Postgres and Postgis Database design with relational models and very good experience in entity and attribute identification and developing the Entity-RelationshipsResolve database performance and scalability issuesImplement DB performance tuning and optimizationDesign and implement scalable database schemas and configurationExpertise in using Bulking techniques, Analytical Functions, Hierarchical Queries, Partition utilization to increase performanceAutomating data loading, extraction, reports generation using UNIX Shell scripting or Python scriptingEfficient in Optimizing, Debugging and testing SQL queries, views and stored procedures written in Oracle and SQL ServerExcellent communication skills.
