Our Account Executives are an integral part of the team and responsible for driving revenue and partnership growth for omni-channel media programs. This role is centered on sales throughout the pre- and post-sales process for media partnerships. This includes managing an existing book of business alongside a client solutions manager, bringing in net new business, growing brand/agency partnerships and internal cross-functional management. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to manage day to day client communication, a strategic mindset to develop media recommendations and deliver on revenue goals.

About the role:

This role is responsible for accelerating participation and revenue from both Publicis and non-Publicis agencies, establishing best-in-class processes across teams by building relationships with key agency stakeholders, transforming how we collaborate & integrate, evangelizing the CitrusAd product suite, and educating agency teams on how best to utilize our platform.Activate and enable aggregator partners (Kenshoo, Pacvue) to push revenue through the CitrusAd platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Publicis agency development. Grow revenue / relationships with each Publicis agency
  • Lead non-Publicis agency development
  • Coordinate and Grow API partnerships (13+ partners)
  • Facilitate upfronts from the top down
  • Lead conversations with the brand teams, ensuring participation across the Network
  • Educate “fingers on keyboards” teams at agencies on CitrusAd platform.
  • Coordinate enablement sessions to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Promote and help roll out Citrus Certification to agencies
  • Coordinate proposals and looping in appropriate sales rep
  • Work collaboratively with all levels across the agency community to build mutually beneficial ways of partnering to accelerate client adoption of CitrusAd’s platform and products
  • Advise and execute on CitrusAd’s agency go-to-market strategy with the objective of maximizing long-term revenue into our Retail Media business
  • Design & implement partnership agreements that incentivize growth behaviors at the account level
  • Co-create programs and initiatives that bolster an agency’s value proposition to improve client business outcomes
  • Assess and understand the agency landscape; develop strong relationships and be responsible for engagement planning in support of a growth agenda
  • Evangelize new products and technologies to agency stakeholders
  • Execute an agency training and education strategy
  • Collaborate with sales and appropriate cross functional partners, including marketing, to ensure a coordinated approach to growing agency business
  • Serve as internal voice of the agency customer to help formulate product and shape marketing roadmaps
  • Support CitrusAd’s leadership and Regional / Global Teams to build, test, deploy and then refine a scalable operating model for maximizing growth through the agency channel
  • Deliver business growth, engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of agencies in an assigned market, and manage and strengthen executive-level agency relations through key meetings, business reviews, and speaking engagements.
  • Partner and coach the Sales team and help them engage with stakeholders in agencies and customers, and build and actively manage effective long-term agency planning processes.

About you:

We are looking for an Manager, Agency Partnerships who has the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Working knowledge of retail, eCommerce and digital monetization programs as well as Ad Tech Industry knowledge
  • Strong leadership qualities – trust, loyalty, empathy, forward thinking, self-starter
  • Strong organization skills – proving the ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to problem solve focused on being solution oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Solution oriented mindset
  • Proven thought leader in strategic planning and operational efficiencies
  • Efficient time management skills – able to sustain timeline management and campaign deliverables
  • Experience in various CRM, Sales Intelligence and Ad Server platforms and/or the ability and willingness to learn quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong digital advertising experience and social media expertise
  • Retail Media and eCommerce expertise
  • Exhibits a high level of competency in oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in building relationships with senior agency decision-makers and working across teams within complex organizations to achieve objectives
  • An established network of agency and senior client relationships in the industry and deep understanding of retail media
  • Proven track record of delivering results and generating transformational growth

Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs. Media Sales / Agency / Advertising experience
  • 5+ yrs. developing Marketing & Sales Strategies
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships
  • Strong understanding of CPG environment either through direct sales experience or similar exposure
  • Comfortable with DSP, DMP, PMP terminology & discussion
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Post COVID travel required to Brands/Agency offices
