Job Description - AWS Principle Cloud Security Architect - Remote

An ICS client is seeking a 100% Remote, AWS Principle Cloud Security Architect. This position is a new add/new expertise on the team. You will be working across multiple teams and advising on multiple enterprise clients. 6 month contract to hire and looking to interview immediately.

An ideal candidate must understand cloud security at an expert level. You should understand different security issues when running in the cloud and how to solve those issues. Understand how to transition from an on prem security model into a security model that works in the cloud. Must be an expert in AWS security but an added plus would be some experience in Azure.

You must understand Network Security and different paradims on how the network runs in the cloud. Any experience around implementing 3rd party firewalls solutions would be a plus.

You should come from an Infrastructure and Security background, not necessarily App Dev.

Certifications Required:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - PROFESSIONAL
  • AWS Certifed Security Specialty
Expected years of experience is 8+
