Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretJob Family: Software DevelopmentGDIT is looking for a Sr. SAP BASIS Engineer to support our U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) Managed Service Provider (MPS) Program.Join an exciting and dynamic team delivering a large-scale Enterprise Common Tools cloud platform, automation & orchestration, and SAP Cloud Application Migration effort. This team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with engineering, migration, and operations & sustainment of SAP ECC and HANA cloud migration efforts. Enterprise Common Tools and specific Army program customer migration efforts provide a range of day-to-day challenges, while the bigger picture architecture and migration efforts provide tangible milestones that the team pursues together following AGILE practices, to deliver the overall program effort. We’re building a team with the right skills to deliver SAP cloud infrastructure operations and sustainment in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity, and communications, with both dedicated and matrixed resources, and the chance to learn and grow on the job and the program. We’re looking to fill this role/team with those who currently have the SAP cloud migration experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large enterprise environments, are flexible and enjoy tackling challenges, and desire to join a large team that is building and sustaining one of the largest SAP multi-tenant cloud landscape/enterprises and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. Contributes to highly complex projects that require in-depth SAP technical knowledge.

Makes high-level design choices and dictates various process, policies, and standards. Provide architecture and design guidance to the infrastructure team

Experience installing, configure, and support SAP Netweaver for ECC, PI, Solution Manager, and HANA DB

Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of SAP applications, infrastructure, and security

Experience in designing all aspects of Cloud Infrastructure Architecture including Compute, Storage, Network, High Availability, Disaster recovery and monitoring

Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP and non-SAP landscape and integration

Partner with business and Super Users to simplify and standardize processes to meet industry best practices and keep customizations in the core to the bare minimum

Work on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business, act as adviser and coach to junior team members.

Experience with implementing a multi-tiered SAP environment (N+1) in the cloud (AWS)

Architecture strategy & roadmap - define and update solution roadmaps, architecture documents and related artifacts

Secret clearance is required to startDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field required

10+ years of SAP Basis Support with at least 3 years’ experience supporting AWS IaaS

Minimum 6 years Solution Design, Technical design, end-to-end architecting with SAP systems. Experience in AWS platform is preferred.
