Bilingual Sales and Showroom Assistant

Restaurant Equipment World (REW) is seeking a happy, fun and intelligent person for a full time Bilingual Sales and Showroom Associate (aka Showroom Assistant) position in our store.

We are a 49 year old family owned business. In addition to serving customers in Central Florida, we serve customers world wide through our E-Commerce and Global Ops (government/military) divisions. We hold both GSA and AFNAF contracts with the U.S. government.

Duties include:

Stocking shelves

Helping customers find the products they need

Loading purchases into customer's vehicles if they require assistance

Ringing up sales on the cash register

Quoting and processing special orders

Receiving incoming freight from trucks if our warehouse staff is unavailable

Requirements:

Bilingual (fluent in both English and Spanish)

Must be computer literate

Moderate lifting is required (25 to 30 pounds)

At least 1 year of prior retail experience

Must be able to pass a full background check (criminal/credit/DL)

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Please note, although we have heat/ac, our store is in a warehouse setting, and does get cool in the winter and warm in the summer. Therefore, candidates must be adaptable to temperatures.

Prior restaurant experience is helpful.

This is a full time (40 hours/week) position. The hours are 8:30 to 5:30/5:45 (1 hour lunch break), Monday-Friday. The hours are firm/non-negotiable. We are open on Saturdays from 10-2. You will be required to work one Saturday each month.
