Irrigation/Spray Technician Full Time Position Needed Immediately

Spray Technician:

Spray prescribed amounts of fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide, and fungicide. Also apply granular fertilizers etc. (Z-Sprayer, Spreader, Backpack Sprayer)

Manage inventory and usage of applications, pesticides, and fertilizers.

Performs routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment.

Maintains chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with county, state and federal regulations and is responsible for the safety and direction of chemical handlers and or helper.

Responsible for the direct preventive maintenance of all equipment associated with the task of spraying.

Maintain daily spray records.

Must have Spray Technician Experience

Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Must be reliable for attendance.

Present a positive, professional image.

Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.

Perform other duties as assigned.

GHP and LNO applications

Irrigation Technician

Minimum 3 years, verifiable, hands on experience installing and maintaining irrigation for "High End" commercial properties using major manufacturer's materials (Rainbird and Hunter.)

Must be knowledgeable with irrigation controllers, standard and two wire installations, wells and pump stations.

Must be able to trouble shoot, repair and re-route, if necessary.

MUST have a clean, valid Florida driver's license. No points or DUI's. We will verify.

Bilingual is a plusENGLISH IS A MUST!

Physical demands:

Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, crawl, and walk.

Ability to lift to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions. Must wear protective gear.
