Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Play a critical part in a team environment as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a thriving company. This long-term contract / temporary to hire position is offered through Robert Half. The Accounts Payable Clerk will process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. Located in Naples, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.Your responsibilitiesOpen, sort, and distribute daily department mail

Fullfill full-cycle A/P

Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Bank reconciliations experience

Knowledge of month end closings

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

High attention to detail

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Competent with spreadsheets and databases
