RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Guest Services Lead Engineer in Miramar, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities:Application Development: IT Guest Services Lead Engineer compares and contrasts on the interoperability of multiple development tools Trains others on developing and supporting multiplatform applications Monitors industry and vendor experiences with technologies and methodologies Presents information on the evolution of development and convergence with other technologies

IT Systems Management: Forecasts technological industry trends and methodologies in IT systems management Oversees the establishment and use of best practices in IT systems management Promotes the use of standard procedures in supporting IT systems functions Creates criteria to measure the performance of IT systems management Leads discussions and answers complex questions regarding world-class infrastructure and management of IT systems Provides insight into management procedures to ensure excellent performance in IT systems

Platform Architecture: Leads discussions on future trends, methodologies, and processes of platform architecture throughout the enterprise Creates or introduces new methodologies and approaches to develop platform architecture Designs training programs to improve the technical ability of platform architects and evaluates the effectiveness of this program on a regular basis Develops strategies for platform architecture; Ensures that these strategies align with business requirements Establishes best practices, processes, and standards in platform architecture for one's own department and throughout the organization Consults on complex issues in platform architecture design for the entire organization

Reliability Engineering - Product Health: Contributes to the establishment of best practices for implementing reliability engineering processes and procedures

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology or similar discipline 5 years of experience required Leading people with an executive presence Love of consuming and creating documentation Project management of small initiatives Ability to supervise teams in both North American and offshore Use of tools: Service Now, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint Use of various technical tools to troubleshoot connectivity, client/server applications, firewalls, peripheral devices Communication: Peer, management, customer service

Desired Skills: Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology or similar discipline desired Desired Years of Experience: 10 Industry experience in cruise, specifically shipboard Familiarity with Guest Services/hospitality
