Accountant Specialist

We are looking for an Accountant Specialist to manage all financial transactions such as fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits and budgets. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare budget forecasts. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and cash flow. For the assigned entities, responsible for the general ledger (journal entries preparation, account analysis, and reconciliation), to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial results. Reviews and posts intercompany transactions in preparation for consolidated financial statements. Prepares routine financial statements for Management review. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned and analyze variances on each of them. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees. Extensive knowledge of data preparation procedures and requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Fluent in English and Spanish. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Three years of experience in accounting. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
