Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Crew and Travel Operations Coordinator to serve as lead facilitator for department planning and decision making and is responsible, within defined scope, for the day-to-day operation of a department. This role will also oversee and manage the crew assistance mailbox that receives inquiries from our 40,000+ shipboard employees. This role will be responsible for managing all of the administrative functions for the department and offering support with new initiatives and activities. Project management and coordination is essential to the job function. Strengthen the document processing and long-term planning for the department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Administers crew assistance mailbox and respond to team members in a timely manner, working closely with other departments to resolve team member inquires

Create reference letters/employment verification for team members

Arranges meetings and conferences, schedule appointments, coordinating projects and initiatives, maintaining departmental records and files, and providing administrative support to departmental staff

Communicating with other departments and external stakeholders, serving as a liaison between departmental staff and management, and providing training and support to departmental staff

Provide support to the VP on all travel/expense related inquiries

Assist in scheduling meetings and preparing power point presentation as needed

Maintains various database and spreadsheet files as requested

Travel inquiries and booking vendors by providing status updates and maintaining open and professional communication

Maintains/updates staffing lists, organizational charts, employee contact information

Assists with new hire setup/onboarding and training coordination

Will act as office/department safety contact and provide support to business continuity work

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Business, Hospitality & Tourism, Human Resources, Administrative Support

Minimum 3-5 years’ administrative support experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines; and be able to analyze and resolve issues independently

Strong attention to detail and strong organizational qualities

Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.At Carnival, your total rewards package is much more than your base salary. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.

Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
