Accounts Payable Clerk

In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. You will work closely and report to the Accounting Manager. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Located in Maitland, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening.What you get to do every dayFacilitate internal and external audits as needed

Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

Carry out a full-cycle A/P

Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

Carry out additional projects as required Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

Data entry experience

2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

Great attention to detail

Competent with spreadsheets and databases
