This is a 3-6 contract-to-hire position with an opportunity to work in a large enterprise environment and gain valuable experience and exposure to new technologies in a fast paced and exciting environment. - Direct and facilitate team calls to align on high priority incidents.
- Ensure communication lines are open and information is diffused between departments
- Escalate issues based on priority to appropriate department (routers, wireless, firewalls, lan/wan, etc) for resolution
- Manage technical personnel and be technically savvy enough to determine root causes
- Translate, understand and regurgitate technological issues at all levels; from non-technical team members to high-level execs.
- Identifying issues and process improvements, and distribution of work request.
- 5-7 years of combined experience with career progression in IT infrastructure
- 2+ years of hands-on experience network engineering in an enterprise environment (routing, switch, wireless, load/balancing, firewall) with CCNA or CCNP level of knowledge
- Strong ability to multitask in a high pressure environment
- Experience in managing or leading a team in some capacity (leadership skills)
- ITIL framework for incident & change management
