Overview The Product Analyst will work with various internal stakeholders to develop requirements for and support the implementation of a tools that help Cast Members provide the highest level of service to our Guests. Product Analyst will partner closely with Business Analysts, Technology, Call Center Operations, Merchandise Operations Planning/Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Accounting Teams.

Requirements:
  • Define and gather detailed business requirements and acceptance criteria for solutions that meet business objectives and provide high-quality experiences for our Guests and Cast members
  • Facilitate backlog refinement , tech estimations, sprint planning and scrums, coordinating with tech leads and project managers to meet sprint deliverables and ensure high-velocity sprints
  • Support feature launches with go-to-market plans, user acceptance testing and regular communications to project stakeholders
  • Support the execution of creative assets developed for a feature, such as the visual design and copywriting, to ensure adherence to strategic vision defined by the Manager, Product Management
  • Inform the priority of and manage feature/bug requests, in partnership with other members of the Product Management team and with key stakeholders
  • Manage feature requirements and user stories within various Agile backlogs and throughout the Agile development lifecycle
  • Support the team with documentation, industry research, reporting/analytics, project logistics, testing, and general coordination of feature launches/enhancements
  • Partner with key stakeholders (Product Design, Technology, Legal, Site Merchandising, Pricing, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.) to translate and manage scope expectations as well as across other product lines/destinations/brands within Consumer Products Commercialization to ensure a seamless Guest experience
  • Consult with other project teams on key integration aspects to enable a smooth hand-off and minimal impact to ongoing operations
  • Collaborate on best practices, processes and artifacts that create highly efficient implementation and sustainment of operations
  • Champion the digital experience, advocating on the Guest's behalf and working diligently to create a first-class experience for Disney Guests across Unified Retail

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience with in a delivery organization
  • 3+ years experience working in a technical discipline, preferably with IBM Sterling Commerce
  • Experience in agile development
  • Gathers information from stakeholders to document functional, system, and/or data requirements. Participate in customer requirement discussions for new clearings and products.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish defects from enhancement requests.
  • Refine high level requirements into detailed scenarios and development deliverables. Perform product system impact analysis to determine affected functional areas of the application. Collaborate closely with operators to develop features that help make magic.
  • Participate in the architecture design of the feature
  • Own product backlog:
  • Write detailed & high-quality product requirements and user stories, maintain priorities.
  • Provide detailed walk through of features, feature scenarios, and business solution to the scrum team, answer questions coming from the scrum team.
  • Provide business sign of for the user stories and feature.
  • Conduct various sessions, trainings, knowledge sessions to enable larger product, implementation teams about product functionality, offerings and features.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others to achieve actionable results, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships and interact within all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate and influence decision-making with all levels in the organization (business, executive, technical)
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership of work, with the ability to quickly pivot on multiple, high-visibility efforts on a daily basis

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working with Resort Operations
  • Worked with Interfaces, like proprietary system to system or EDI/EDIFACT transactions
  • Experience working with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting Business Teams

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
