Define and control the production process, including tooling and equipment, to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Validate design specifications and ensure their successful application on the shop floor, working closely with design engineers and production operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that support product manufacturing during production, driving continuous improvement.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and utilize prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policies and strategies effectively.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and utilize this understanding to accomplish your own work. Recognize how the work of your team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.

Exercise judgment and propose different solutions, even outside of set parameters, with guidance. Draw on your prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Utilize technical skills and analytical thinking to address problems, seeking input from multiple internal sources as needed.

Provide informal guidance and mentorship to new team members, leveraging your interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or a related field. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of Engineering experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering.

Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, utilizing critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

Proven experience in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs related to manufacturing engineering.

Established project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Familiarity with new product development in an aerospace manufacturing environment, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific requirements and best practices.
