Apex Systems is working with an exciting global client of ours in the payment technology space on multiple Jr. QA Analyst openings! This is a great opportunity to join a company poised for continued growth.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of basic QA testing experience (can be school or professional), excellent communication skills, general coding knowledge (don't need to code but should have been exposed), as well as some type of automation experience (running test cases/hot to automate them)

Location: On-Site in Jacksonville, FL (32256)

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.
  • Document testing according to require procedures.
  • Observing, testing, diagnosing, and reporting faults in the software and hardware.
  • Prepare and execute test plans and test cases for projects and product releases.
  • Learn different QA testing methodologies and standards.
  • Work closely with the Development Engineering and QA team.
  • Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
  • Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
  • Responsible for mobile Application Testing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills: clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must.
  • Ability to work as part of a team: Candidate must be able to work well with others, both in-person and in a remote environment.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate technically with the team, but also communicate clearly with the business in non-technical language.
  • Time management skills: Excellent self-management and time management is essential. The position requires managing multiple competing priorities in a timely manner, to stay on schedule.
  • Detail-oriented and patient.
  • Must be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed.
Education and Experience:
  • College degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Some experience in writing code a big plus- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
