RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking an IT Support Specialist with transportation/logistics experience to join their team remotely. The TMS (transportation management system) they will support is called MercuryGate so someone who has used it previously is a major plus. The shift this person will work is Monday-Friday from 9am - 6pm EST.

Summary:Potential candidates are able to provide expert level technical assistance, Customer Service and consultation for all supported applications to our Agents, BCOs, Employees and Customers. IT Support Specialists must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain the solution. They must be customer-oriented and patient to deal with challenging customers.

Essential Functions: Record events and problems and their resolution Assist when able or route incident to the appropriate area within the company for further handling

Provide support and trouble shooting skills on all supported applications including but not limited to: Client site Various Mobile APPS TMS

Serve as first point of contact for Customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, and the self-service ticket system; Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Or one year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Looking for 2 years of experience (logistics required) Extensive knowledge of PC Operating Systems and web browsers Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role Data Entry skills 85 KPM is required Extremely organized and detail oriented Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills Ability to maintain a high level of customer service in a high volume, fast-paced work environment Fully remote working M-F 9-6 Candidates need to be on EST or CST
