We have been retained by a prestigious, Fortune 100 financial services organization to provide outsourced accounting services to its Controllership organization. We are looking for motivated, collaborative, and process focused accounting individuals to join our team.

There are significant opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for entry level accounting tasks across areas (scope areas include but are not limited to loan accounting, treasury accounting, cash forecasting, control execution, financial reporting, forecasting, etc.). Scope areas include:

    • Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly cash forecasts

    • Prepare and perform balance sheet account reconciliations

    • Complete basic accounting tasks not limited to updating invoices, forms, sheets and journal entries

    • Reconcile Intercompany Accounts for various operating entities

    • Participate in the general ledger, fixed assets, collections, accounts payable and cash management areas

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, or comparable professional experience

  • Understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries

  • 1+ years experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a preference within banking or financial services companies

  • Experience working with a major ERP tool required (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle GL, etc.), experience with PeopleSoft strongly preferred

  • Experience with handling tasks that contribute to the month end closing process

  • Ability to deliver results as an individual contributor within a team environment
