A construction supervisor's job is to manage the safety and efficiency of construction projects. Their responsibilities include:

Planning and organizing: Creating project schedules, determining manpower needs, and allocating resources

Managing the workforce: Distributing tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, and supervising subcontractors and staff

Ensuring quality and safety: Ensuring work is performed to the highest standards and that building and safety regulations are met

Communicating: Keeping the team and superiors informed of any challenges or delays

Problem solving: Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks

Construction supervisors may also be responsible for administering personnel policies and procedures, and recommending personnel actions
