WORDPRESS DESIGNER/DEVELOPER (SOUTH FLORIDA)

Looking for a Powerhouse Junior level WordPress Designer/Developer to work remotely in South Florida, preferably Palm Beach County. Design and SEO experience is a plus!

This position is FULL TIME. If you own your own business and do freelance work, this is NOT a good fit for you. Our employment contract specifies exclusivity.

We design beautiful websites for the medical and aesthetics industry.

What you'll do:

· Be an integral part of our in-house team.

· Build client websites (PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript) from conception to completion primarily in Wordpress but other CMS platform experience a plus.

· Be able to accurately schedule workload. You are well organized, know how much you can handle and always deliver on-time or sooner.

· Support in-house marketing team with on-site edits, re-themes, optimization, and development.

· Troubleshoot and fix new client pre-existing Wordpress sites.

· Keep learning! Remain curious, you love expanding your skill-set and mastering new challenges

What you bring to the table:

· Experience building entire features for moderately complex web sites or applications using PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

· Advanced experience with WordPress.

· Know common plugins – You have implemented solutions with the majority of the most popular plugins, especially Visual Composer

· Two years of experience in related web technologies such as Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, etc

· Portfolio of previous projects.

· Experience with Photoshop. (Design skills are critical for the success of this position)

· General knowledge of SEO. (advanced SEO a plus)

· Experience with CDN Networks

· Understanding of web and SEO standards and accessibility guidelines.

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines on a tight schedule.

· Experience collaborating with others and working in teams.
