Marine Canvas Trainee/ Shop Helper (Pompano Beach)

Looking for an individual interested in long term employment.

Position requires:

Working outside in summer.

Speaking and understanding English

Reading a tape measure accurately

Arriving at work on time every day

Ability to lift heavy objects.

Mechanical ability

Additional abilities a plus:

Cabinetry or finish carpentry

Boating experience

Valid driver’s license

Common sense

Position also includes inside duties i.e. sweeping, emptying trash, cleaning and learning the “nuts and bolts” of the trade. Applicants will also be required to accompany installers to boats to assist with installation and gain job training.

Benefits after 90 days

Permanent 40 hours plus OT
