Onsite/Livein property managing couple needed, perfect Retired duo

Long term / Permanent, full time, year around, property manager couple, needed for a live-in position at a small Inn (14 rooms). Seeking highly motivated self-starting honest couple to manage all responsibilities of the Inn. You will have busy winters and a very quiet summers. Experience preferred. Job only for live-in and a couple, we are not splitting up the job and not interested in live-out. Thank you!

The Innkeeper position requires a mutually supportive energetic mature 2 person team living and working together on the premises 24/7. We are seeking a couple that work well as a team and great at problem solving and supporting each other and offer a variety of hands-on Skills to manage a small business. The Innkeepers must be able and willing to manger their own hours splitting their work between the hours of 7am and 10:00pm. We have notice what works best is the shift being split into 7-3 and 3-10. (The office is closed from 10pm to 7am) There is a lot of down time all day long, so this position is perfect of retired couples.

Requirements and Responsibilities included but not limited to the following:

Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred and French a plus

Daily sales, direct guest sales (front desk), email and phone inquiries.

Have excellent customer service skills, professional

Guest Services, assisting guest with reservations and activities in the area.

Small business accounting, as assistant to owner.

Supervise housekeeping staff.

Prepare laundry for pick up.

Very basic ground and property maintenance (sweeping, washing down sidewalk, unstop toilets) Most other maintenance is hired out.

Compensation:

Salary off season ($1600 per month, net) Season ($2000 per month, net) salary is based off of sales.

Studio Apartment included: Full kitchen, on premises free washer and dryer, all utilities included: (water, electric, telephone, internet, Cell phone, Netflix, cable, etc)

We are looking for a couple that is both honest, energetic, enthusiastic hard working, business minded, very outgoing, friendly, can handle any situation that may arise in a calm manner, whom are solid in their vows and comment to each, pays close attention to detail; not to mention cleanliness. Our manager's quarters sleep a maximum of two, so a Retired couple or Empty nesters that wants to remain active, would be perfect. The Inn is a Non Smoking facility so nonsmokers only please. Sorry no pets.

Must be able to work without direct supervision on a daily basis and fulfill duties promptly while providing exceptional guest service and providing a squeaky clean environment with a friendly attitude.
