Client in Ft. Lauderdale is looking to hire a Techno-Functional ERP professional to their team on a permanent basis.

  • The new hire will come from a client in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry.
  • The Client currently has 3 ERPs supporting 4 divisions of their manufacturing and distribution business. The client has made the decision that they are going to bring in a new ERP, and migrate the current 3 ERP's in the new product that has been chosen. Corporate leadership is in the process of choosing a new ERP, and has short listed 1) Epicor Eclipse, 2) Epicor Prophet 21, 3) Infor’s Cloud Suite Distribution and 4) NetSuite.
  • The new hire needs to have ERP implementation experience.
  • The client is looking to hire a humble professional that will be empowered to work closely with business stakeholders, manage projects, reporting, querying, responsible for systems, structures, application functions, etc.
  • They will be responsible for working with consultants through the implementation of the new ERP. They will be mapping and assisting with the implementation of new features, integrating systems, etc. The client integrates to inventory control systems, transportation management systems, freight / shipping systems, etc.
  • They will be responsible for all techno functional aspects of ERP projects and related integrations, including driving design, development, testing, documentation and deploy phases of various projects. This role will provide functional support to business operations in Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning and Warehousing areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Expertise with ERP Systems and manufacturing with raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
  • Develop or approve project plans, schedules, or budgets.
  • Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
  • Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
  • Perform security analyses of developed or packaged software components.
  • Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
  • Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
  • Define and analyze objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of enterprise application systems.
  • Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
  • Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints.
  • Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use.
  • Complete models and simulations, using manual or automated tools, to analyze or predict system performance under different operating conditions.
  • Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
  • Train system users in system operation or maintenance.
