Staff Accountant

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Staff Accountant for a project in Doral, FL.

PAY: $22-$27/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays -5 days per week

SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 8:00 am-4:00 pm

START DATE: 12/16/2024

Duration: Temp to perm

Role and Responsibilities:

Print/Receive/Post PO’s for Equipment/Pipe (daily)

Matching and auditing of p/o with invoices and resolve issues with purchasing (daily)

Process WIRES and check run and file A/P paperwork (weekly), process /check/wire/credit card payments (daily)

Assist Controller with bank reconciliations and journal entries (monthly)

Assist Controller with Job cost in Pipe and verifying customers are billed correctly and other financial analysis (monthly)

Order office supplies/kitchen and maintain closet, as needed

Process Seaboard’s commission reports for Equipment/Pipe (monthly)

Process expense report for marketing manager (weekly)

Review vendor/credit card statements to verify charges (monthly)

Qualifications:

2 years of Accounts Payable experience

Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft package

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
