Wire Products of Florida is actively interviewing applicants for our Controller position to oversee all financial procedures of our company. This is a Full Time position in our business office that is connected to our manufacturing facility.

As Controller, you will monitor the company’s financial status, and manage accounting transactions including, under 50 employee payroll and taxes, banking, and reporting. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with human resources and benefits. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits, and safeguard assets. HR responsibilities include 401K, medical insurance / reimbursement programs and 125 plan, among other benefits.Responsibilities

Analyze costs and profits

Manage monthly inventory

Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems

Calculate formulas for manufactured products

Document, monitor and update accounting policies

Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations

Oversee bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededSkills

Attention to detail

Ability to work with monthly deadlines

Experience with cash management

Good knowledge of accounting software

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field

Work experience as a Controller or similar role of at least 5 years

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation

Hands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
