RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Doral, FL that is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect.
Summary:In this role, the Senior Infrastructure Architect is responsible for design, development, and implementation of enterprise Linux Systems and infrastructure, and will recommend/oversee approved projects that expand, change, or improve Linux systems and related infrastructure. The Senior Infrastructure Architect will support cross-departmental collaboration and internal communications with staff throughout the organization, as well as promoting a positive work environment that supports consistency and drives efficiency throughout the organization. The position is responsible for creating detailed solution designs and documentation that supports the development, implementation and operations of enterprise-class systems used globally across ship and shore locations.Responsibilities: 25%: Senior Infrastructure Architect will develop detailed architectural designs, installation, and configuration, for all Linux based systems 25%: Participate and/or oversee projects that expand, change, or improve the systems and related infrastructure 10%: Provide guidance and take overall responsibility for directing, administering, and coordinating the initiatives related to platform operations and responsibilities 10%: Perform first build of infrastructure and transition to managed service provider when required 5%: As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will collaborate with other infrastructure teams for new systems designed and engineered 5%: Conducts independent platform assessments and develops procedures to confirm or establish that standards are implemented correctly and are effective 5%: Act as Level 4 escalation for issues encountered by managed service provider 5%: Understand advances and changes in the technology industry and work directly with equipment manufactures to assess new technologiesREQUIREMENTS: MCSA, MCSE preferred 5-7 years of RedHat Linux OS experience, experience with VMware, RedHat Satellite, RedHat Ansible Tower, physical server experience (DELL HW), excellent scripting skills, familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, OCP, Tanzu, etc. Excellent documentation skills, ITIL, ITSM excellent communication and written skills Windows server, YAML, power shell familiarity with enterprise storage technologiesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
