Sr. Project Manager Transportation

 AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager Transportation o join a dynamic and highly technical Transportation design team in South Florida. This is an engineering position for an experienced Project/Design Manager with an emphasis on Highway/Roadway design who will be responsible for the technical design and management of roadway design projects in South Florida. This is a great opportunity to produce/manage technical designs and assist in growing the engineering transportation team in our Coral Gables and Ft. Lauderdale offices. The successful candidate will be expected to help grow the roadway design practice by: Serving as Project Manager to key roadway design project pursuits.Managing budgets, schedules, engaging with clients, managing subcontractors, and ensuring QA/QC of all deliverablesDevelop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuityProvide technical expertise by formulating and developing advance design concepts, techniques, and standards·Assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical qualityGeneral business development and marketing focus, while ensuring client care and feedback to maintain high quality performanceMentor and lead a team of Transportation professionals Minimum:Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university is required.8 plus years of transportation engineering experiencePreferred:Ten plus years of experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of design projects is requiredExperience with design and management of limited access facilitiesFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) is requiredExperience in engineering leadership roles and project management.FDOT Design and Design Build experienceAccomplished track record in Transportation/Roadway design projects and client relationships with FDOT Districts 4 & 6Demonstrate proficiency in MicroStation and GEOPAK, 3D corridor modelingExperience as a seller/doer for transportation in the South Florida market
