If you relate well to all kinds of people, explain things easily in ways that our patients can understand and listen attentively, and can hone in on the most important issues then.…… this is the career for you!As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist the Enrollment Sales Specialist function in managing and maintaining overall patient care duties and customer relationships for the department including contacting new patients, establishing and nourishing the relationship with outside sales, provider contacts, and patients to ensure patient records are complete prior forwarding the file as appropriate for shipment.What you’ll be doing

Referral intake and entry, including validating referral before entry to ensure compliance and acceptance for current business processes

Complete welcome call and referral source questionnaire with patient to ensure they qualify for medical supplies through their insurance plan

Responsible for contacting various referral sources (i.e. health care professionals, manufacturers, or CCS Medical partners) to confirm referral information

Collects, validates, and enters patient information and health plan information

Assists with new patient services in various functions such as patient contact on referral status

Demonstrates accountability and responsiveness to the needs of the patients

Maintains accurate patient records

Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information

Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department

Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements

Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills are essential

Demonstrated ability to accurately perform data entry and pay close attention to detail

Proficient in typing speed and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy

Ability to understand Medical Records documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Position requires evening and weekend availability
