RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Agile/Scrum Master.

Responsibilities: The Senior Project Manager will support project owners in the development of Project Charters and business cases Define project goals, budgets and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders Set, manage and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion Develop a detailed project plan, including scheduling project timelines, risks and milestones using appropriate tools Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs Support business owners and product managers with taking strategic vision and map them to road maps, epics, and features Act as Scrum Master and coach for the product team; Enforce ceremonies and Agile best practices Measure project and product performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk management to minimize project/product risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Ensure the existence of comprehensive project / product documentation Liaise with project/product stakeholders on an ongoing basis Work with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed and ready for the next sprint The Senior Project Manager will confirm the resources and participants needed to achieve project and product goals for the life of the project or the increment/sprint Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle

REQUIREMENTS: Four-year college diploma or university degree in Computer Systems Design or Computer Science Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred Agile for Project Management experience and Safe Scrum Master certification preferred 10+ years of proven project management experience in information technology, including all aspects of process development and execution with proven Agile deliver experience Demonstrated experience in human resource management Both strong technology and business acumen are required Technical acumen should include understanding or hands-on experience with software development and web technologies Ability to work with and challenge all levels of management Technical proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent Project Management software tool, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Management of Agile scrum via Jira preferred Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated Team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment and with diverse personality types Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems Collaborative in driving decisions Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
