ICE OES acts as the central clearing and approval office responsible for expediting replies and maintaining a repository of incoming letters, internally generated tasks, and legislative records. To achieve its goals, OES is composed of federal SMEs, analysts, and contractor staff who input, track, coordinate, and proofread responses to internal/external government agency requests, Congressional questions for the record (QFRs), private citizen inquiries, and a host of other required taskings.
