A full-service real estate brokerage located in Silver Spring is seeking a part-time interior designer/stager. We offer our clients the best service and promise a signature experience for our clients and staff members. We’re looking for a creative and artistic designer who can help us deliver on our promise. This position requires an enormous amount of teamwork and collaboration with the team already in place.We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about Interior Design and Real Estate Staging, loves people, and has a can-do attitude!

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

-Meet with clients (must be poised and polished) for design appointments, to give recommendations on how to improve the value of a home and stage it for resale. The properties will sometimes require minor to major renovations

-Meet with contractors to get estimates. Gather estimates for suggested work, such as home improvement & maintenance, landscaping, deep cleaning, etc. Prepare a final estimate for all work and present it to clients.

-Remain in constant contact with contractors and clients to manage expectations, and quality control of all scheduled work

- Once work is complete, perform a final walkthrough and create a final punch list when necessary

-Select fixtures, finishes, paint colors and place orders

-Schedule and conduct staging/de-staging and design installations

-Prepare furniture and décor for staging and design installations, pack and unpack decor, soft goods & art

-Keep furnitures and décor in our warehouse clean and organized, as well as organizing tools and supplies


-Passion for interior design

-Interior design experience is a plus

-Experience in home furnishing retail

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent customer service and client-facing experience

-Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must, with the affinity for being meticulous

-This position requires some lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, so you must be able to perform this type of tasks



-Proven "do-it-yourself" home improvement skills; i.e. understand how to use tools, hang items on a wall, utilize a tape measure, etc.

-A working laptop with Google Chrome Installed is required

-Personal transportation required, as you will need to drive to and from various locations


-This position qualifies as part-time, with a potential for full-time hours during large projects or peak season

-An average week is Monday through Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm

-you must be open to work some Saturdays/Sundays, and earlier/later hours during large projects or peak season

We take safety seriously. Most staff are temporarily off-site but this position is mostly- to fully-onsite. We adhere to strict COVID safety protocols, including limited staff on-site, well-spaced work stations, numerous air filtration systems, masks, etc.
