· The Senior Technical Assessor is expected to supervise technical teams, work with stakeholders at all levels of the agency and communicate clearly to management on progress, blockers, and process improvements as part of a team dedicated to producing high quality technical assessments · Certified as a CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP or have equivalent experience as a Technical lead, Lead Security Engineer, or Lead Pen Tester. · Experience creating Security Assessment Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Executive-level briefings
Summary of Qualifications: · Experience in conducting technical risk assessments. · Proficient with vulnerability and scanning tools and well-versed in interpreting risk posture resulting from assessments · Familiarity with standards/frameworks, i.e., ISO, NIST RMF, CSF or MITRE ATT&CK · Experience of assessing cloud-based security authorizations (FedRAMP, AWS, Google & Azure) as well as the NIST control responsibilities · Expert knowledge and experience with FISMA Systems, NIST 800-series guidelines, Continuous Monitoring, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) policies, and vulnerability/patch management, risk, and project management · Ability to work independently and with teams and stakeholders · Effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Responsibilities: · Serve as a cybersecurity technical advisor to the Cybersecurity Assessment Division Director and other federal staff · Provide guidance on determination and documentation of risk level for every noncompliant technical security control in the system baseline and identify the key drivers for the assessment considering threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts as well as existing and planned risk mitigation send resumes to ranadheer at delviom dot comVacancy expired!
