- Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
- Deployment of applicable server patches and performs systems backups.
- Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Provide Tier III/other support per request from various customers. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Identifies, reports, and resolves technical security violations.
- Installs, configure, and deploy server hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and patches to support and maintain an effective operational environment
- Supports, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains server issues and security for enterprise and large-scale applications.
- Provides Activity Directory Management, managing user and computer accounts.
- Manages, deploys, configures, and maintains servers in a virtualized and traditional environment.
- Assists in creating scripts to monitor systems, diagnostics, resolve issues, and automate routine tasks.
- Provides support for device management including image development, application packaging and deployment.
- Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
- Configures systems for high availability including strategies for back-up and recovery, failover, load balancing, and full redundancy.
- Installs server hardware and components such as disks, memory, and other components, models and tests changes to production systems.
- Analyzes and resolves issues, gathers information to identify needs, evaluates systems and network requirements, and diagnoses and resolves complex software, server, and networking issues.
- Supports the client’s directory services infrastructure, including hardware configuration and upgrades, group architecture, account maintenance, and authentication for authentication and network access.
- Creates and maintains written and verbal procedures; prepares written technical documentation, training material, standards, reports, and other documents as assigned.
- Evaluates systems and alternate solutions; develops functional specifications, standards, and requirements for hardware and software purchase and design to ensure optimum system and end-user performance; makes recommendations for changes and additional services.
- Trains and provides guidance to contractor and government personnel.
- Provides general networking, computer, and other technology support as needed.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to assigned activities; provide special reports as requested by various departments.
- Operates a variety of office equipment including a computer and assigned software.
- Applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
- Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet application and configuration of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Intelligence Standards.
- Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
- Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.
- Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements.
- Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of centralized storage systems.
- Ability to create documentation of server and network topologies
- 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator managing Windows Systems
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Windows GPO’s
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 through 2016
- Strong experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows
- Technical expertise of MS Exchange 2010 and newer (5+ years)
- Experience with DoD PKI as a Trusted Agent or Registration Authority Officer is a plus!
- Practical knowledge of VMWare 5.x / 6.x (4+ years)
- Ability to solve complex, high pressure issues

- SAN experience such as NetApp, EMC, HP

- ITIL v3 or v4 Certified-desirable
