Windows System Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a DoD Secret cleared Windows System Administrator to provide support to a government customer in Washington D.C.

• Install, maintain, and upgrade servers such as Windows servers and other operating systems
• Maintain current baseline configurations on all server operating systems, and coordinate and document exceptions to baselines where necessary
• Support and maintain the customer's virtual environment
• Provide support for Cloud computing environments
• Monitor Cloud environments for compliance with the customer's security monitoring tool suite
• Deploy patch management and deployment mechanisms for all IT infrastructure
• Install and administer Storage Area Network (SAN), backup hardware and software
• Troubleshoot SAN problems that affect storage and backup systems

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification
• 6 years of experience in administration or relevant operating/software systems
• U.S. Citizen
• An Active Secret clearance

• Salary: $85,000 - $90,000
