Tax Preparer

Responsibilities:

In this role you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that complete and accurate individual tax returns are prepared while delivering outstanding client service. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Review individual tax returns prepared by associate preparers, the ability to review other types of returns like trusts would be a plus

Provide coaching and guidance to tax preparers as needed

Potentially assist in the preparation of individual and fiduciary returns on an as needed basis

Learn/use DHG tax technology applications through on-the-job training

Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all DHG procedures

As a seasonal position, we anticipate a December start date and April end date. We ask for a commitment of at least 20 hours per week, but 40 hours or more would be preferred. This position is in Rockville, MD.
