Senior Accountant/ Book Keeper

Premium Spa and Billiards is a retail company. We have stores located in Fairfax, Tysons, Fredricksburg and Sterling. We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our Fairfax location. The Senior Accountant will need to be able to work independently and will report directly to the owner.

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance

Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures

understand and prepare financial statements (P/L) (B/S) on a required basis

Daily cash tracking and management

Bank and credit card reconciliation

Pay roll processing

Human Resources and general administration

Strong computer skills and familiar with Quick Books and POS software

Strong understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of GAAP

Thorough knowledge of general accounting, general ledger system and procedures

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance with at least 5 years of accounting experience, or related field

CPA is a plus
