Communication Analyst

Parenthetic has an exciting opportunity for senior level analysts with direct experience in strategic communications, including expertise in communication theories, identifying them in practice, and developing methodology for drawing actionable analysis. This is a remote / work from home opportunity. Some travel to client sites in the Washington Metropolitan Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area is required.

• Play lead role within multi-company, multidisciplinary teams focused on developing cutting-edge analytical and technology solutions for national defense and private industry.
• Identify appropriate analytical methods (target analysis, earned and paid media analysis, media landscape analysis, strategic communication planning) and be able to collect, analyze and interpret the data.
• Provide our clients with strategic decisions around communication issues and problem sets based on what is known about their organization’s strategies, goals and objectives, and on the applicable communication research.
• Harness quantitative data and qualitative insights from licensed platforms for use in intelligence reports and dashboards.

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of work experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of work experience
• Track record of delivering data-driven analysis (quantitative and qualitative) without precedent or structure from other frameworks for unique issues or problem sets
• Knowledge of industry-standard project management best practices, from relevant work experience or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• TS/SCI security clearance is REQUIRED
• Familiarity with U.S. Government acquisitions and budget management is preferred
