Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software applications.Formulates systems scope and objectives; devises and/or modifies software applications to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment and capacity limitations, operating time, and form of results; prepares detailed specifications from which programs can be written; designs, develops, tests, debugs, and documents programs and processes in the application software system. Works with the IT team to implement Technology Best Practices and Industry Standards. Works on interface development with expertise in Microsoft .NET Core, C#, RESTful services, Entity Framework, T-SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server within the Paid Family Leave Benefits Administration System (PFLBAS). Prioritizes projects and manage the team's project portfolio. Serve as client manager on high-profile projects, managing customer expectations for project deliverables, providing key stakeholder communications, and implementation of an effective system of project governance. Guides the project team on solution architecture. Works with the project team to assess and define project business requirements. Works closely with peers to define functional and technical roadmaps and strategies to implement.Determines and manages strategy for environment management, release management, systems support, and other related processes. Responsible for proactively identifying technology opportunities that impact business strategies and performance. Serves as a knowledgeable resource to stakeholders and IT regarding product capabilities, business processes, change impacts and integration with other systems. Possess a high level of technical literacy, which helps them determine how a software solution fits into an organization’s current structure and assists in the development of specifications and requirements. Investigates and resolves software problems, analyzes and implements requests for new functionality and tests changes/updates, and ensures proper integration with other systems. Maintains and updates business process documentation and provides ongoing support of applications software. Performs needs analysis to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions.
